A little less then two weeks ago, the deal was finalized. PriveCo Inc. purchased the domain name, Vibrators.com, for $1,000,000. It has been reported that PriveCo made a $200,000 down payment on the domain name, and plans to pay the rest of the money over a short period of time at an 8% interest rate.

PriveCo is a rather small, private company, based out of Hazel Park, Michigan. Founded in 1998, PriveCo was in last years Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Private Companies, ranking at position 4,902, as well as this years Inc. 5000’s Fastes Growing Private Companies, ranking at position 4,582. Based off of the belief that some item’s are better to be purchased in complete privacy, PriveCo has grown into a very well respected internet company, that definitely has a bright future ahead of them.

The company felt Vibrators.com was a great domain name that they are planning to develop into an online vibrators store. It also goes along with their theme about wanting to sell things in complete privacy, and I would be pretty sure that most would want complete and TRUSTWORTHY privacy when purchasing items of that sort.

Of course, $1,000,000 is a ton of money, especially for small companies like PriveCo in these tough times in our economy. But PriveCo has proven their great potential for success, and I think that they can make this work for them, and turn this deal into a great success.
