One may like to brag that they have 1000 domains, or a relatively large number like that. But the truth is, it’s all about the quality of one’s portfolio, not the size. Someone who owns 15 nice, quality domain names may have a much, much more valuable domain portfolio than someone who has has a portfolio of 1000 domains.

Now of course, this isn’t always the case. Someone may own 1000 nice, quality domains that are valuable as gold, 1000 times more valuable than a portfolio of 15 domains. So don’t take my comment the wrong way when I said a smaller portfolio can easily be twice as valuable if not more then another portfolio. It is just a very possible scenario proving the point it’s not about quantity.

It’s really just the point I am trying to get across. Don’t worry about your number of domains. Worry about how good the domains you have are. Your comments on this topic are greatly appreciated. And please remember domainers, it’s not about quantity, but it’s about quality!
