We can all see how this horrible economy is effecting the domain industry. Domains are selling at unbelievably low prices that we haven’t seen for a long time. The economy is absolutely killing us! And it has been for the past few months now.

Congress failed a $700 billion bill earlier today. Thus causing the stock market to go down 777 points. Our economy must be below sea level at this point. We are in the worst recession we have been in for years and years. And yes, this is a recession, not a depression. Recession means that our economy has been falling for 2 consectutive quarters where as a depression means that our economy has been falling for 4 consecutive quarters. Once our country hits a depression, god knows what will happen to our economy and its effect on industries such as the domain industry.

Today, I have bought a couple of domains at prices that I thought were too good to be true. This crash has put us into an even bigger recession in the domain industry. We need a way out! And my personal belief is that congress will come back to this bill later this week now that they realize what their decision has done not only to the domain industry, but our entire economy.
