Getting Your Internet Business Started
I don’t have many friends involved in the internet business. But whenever I tell them about what I do with my internet business, a lot of them are quite intrigued, and want to know how they can get started. So I have created a guide book you can see below, which can help you, or people you know start their internet business quickly and efficiently.
What services will your company offer?
This is the first question you need to ask yourself. What will you provide to the online community? Will you possibly sell something, provide niche content, become an internet consultant? The great thing about the internet is that you can choose exactly what you want to do, and what you enjoy doing. This isn’t a question you should be asking others, you should be asking yourself first.
Evaluate your competition.
Once you have picked out what exactly you want to do, you need to look at your competition. If you are starting a search engine, you need to compete with Google, Yahoo, MSN, and more. You need to look at exactly what they’re doing, and figure out what your going to do better.
Pick a Business Name.
This is actually really important for your business. You want to have a business name that will stick into the consumers head. If you were to tell someone your business name, they should be able to remember it a week later. You want your name to just be brandable.
Some suggestions for picking your name are:
1) Possibly use a dictionary word.
2) You can use a LLL.com or LLLL.com that could be an abbreviate the name of your business.
3) Maybe use your last name.
4) Make sure the .com of your business name is available.
Register Your Domain + Set Your Site Up
The title says it all. Register your domain via a domain registrar. Personally I recommend GoDaddy, but there are hundreds of others registrars out there you can use. Also, find a designer to make your site for you. Normally the most affordable designers can be found on the forums.
Conclusion
I hope this helps! Good luck setting up your future internet business. Be sure to comment how this advice went for you!
