The Google Keyword Tool
Now that my company has gotten into keyword domaining, we have discovered one of the main thing end-users look for in a keyword domain when they make you an offer. Most will say the reason I am about to share is quite obvious, but it’s something a lot of people don’t give a second thought to when buying or selling a domain.
The tip is to use Google’s Keyword Tool to see how high paying the ads are for your specific keyword, which you can find by clicking the following link: Google Keyword Tool. This will really help you when trying to appraise a domain’s value. So for example, one domain my company owns is WorldBroadway.com. I would go to the Google Keyword Tool, and search the term “World Broadway” in the search box. Now, I see that World Broadway is not a very high paying, or high searched keyword domain. But the synonyms of it, which would most likely be the ads showing on my site, have a very high search volume, and have very high paying keywords. Therefore, that makes WorldBroadway.com a very valuable domain. Now that is just one factor in appraising a domain, but it’s something you should always look into before buying or selling a certain domain.
Using the Google Keyword Tool (Link Above), you can also get very good ideas for sites you can make out of your domain. It gives you synonyms of the term you searched which gives you different things your site can be about, or articles you can write about on your site. So the Google Keyword is a very handy tool I would definitely keep in mind whenever dealing with creating websites or domains.
