DNUnderground is back and has gotten a makeover to look better than ever. There have been many improvements not only made to the design, but to the website’s functionality in general. A list of improvements include:
There’s now a live chat. If you look at our floating footer, just click on a button that says live chat. Talk to other domainers just like you around the globe. Live auctions will be conducted in the chat as well, so stay tuned.
Say no more to having your comments deleted every time you click out of the comment box. The comments are now fully functional, and will not delete what you type at any time. Don’t want to take my word for it? Try it out for yourself.
There is now a lot more options for advertisers. Not only do we have a corner “peel ad” that will be implemented once we get an advertiser for it (and only costs $25/month as an introductory price), but we have a lot more room for ad space on the sidebar.
We had a new logo designed, and it came out looking great. One of my motto’s is “simple is best”, and that’s really what we were going for when we designed it. I’d love to hear what you think of it.
The entire design as a whole has a sleek, modern look to it.
I really like what I call the floating bottom bar. It has a lot of functionality that allows you to translate anything on the website, see our most recent posts, have fun and go to random posts on our site, go directly to our Twitter account, and more.
There is now an area for the top commentator’s. Basically, it’s my way of saying thank you to the people who comment on my blog the most.
Saving the best for last, I really like the new retweet button. If you enjoy my article, it gives you the option to easily retweet it, so your followers on Twitter can enjoy the article as you did. Retweets are appreciated.
As you can see, lots of improvements have been made. And there are many more that I’m probably forgetting about and are not included in that list. I’d love to get your thoughts on our makeover, so be sure to submit your comments below. To end this article off, I owe a big thank you to our team of website developers who made this makeover so great.
